Why do most Christians worship on Sunday — and is it biblical?
Jesus warned that it is possible to be sincere, religious, and yet still “worship in vain” by teaching for doctrines the commandments of men (Mark 7:7–9).

Scripture never records God changing the Sabbath.
The seventh day was blessed and sanctified at Creation (Gen 2:1–3), written into God’s law (Exod 20:8–11), kept by Christ (Luke 4:16), and honoured by the apostles (Acts 13:42–44).

So where did Sunday observance come from?

History is clear. The change did not come from the Bible, but from church authority. The Roman Catholic Church openly acknowledges that the transfer of sacredness from the Sabbath to Sunday was its act — and that this act is a MARK of its ecclesiastical authority.

Bible prophecy helps us understand why this matters.

Daniel 7 and Revelation 13 identify a power that:
• arises from Rome
• claims authority above Scripture
• attempts to change God’s law
• and later enforces worship by coercion

Revelation calls this authority’s identifying sign “the mark of the beast.”

Rather than speculating, Scripture invites us to simply ask:

What does the beast itself say its mark is?

The answer is not hidden.
It is the claimed authority to change the day God sanctified.

This is not about attacking people — many worship on Sunday in ignorance.
It is about choosing God’s commandments over human tradition when truth is revealed.

“Here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.” (Rev 14:12)
