THE ADVENT TRUTH
The Bible teaches a SHAKING is coming—and it will reveal what we really are. Hebrews 12:26–27 says God will “shake not the earth only, but also heaven… that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.” In other words, everything built on sand is about to fall. Everything built on Christ will stand.

Jesus warned that tribulation would expose false faith (Matthew 13:20–21). Paul said the falling away must come before the end (2 Thessalonians 2:3). And Peter wrote that judgment begins at the house of God (1 Peter 4:17). The shaking was never meant to destroy God’s people—it’s meant to PURIFY them.

Ellen White describes it plainly: many who have had great light will walk away when the test comes, because their faith was tied to convenience, community, or emotion—not obedience and surrender. When the Sunday law crisis arrives, when truth costs something, when standing for God threatens your career, family, or freedom… shallow roots will not survive.

But here’s the part most people MISS:

As multitudes leave, God brings others in.
The shaking doesn’t just remove the unfaithful—it makes room for those who have been searching for truth their whole lives. Jesus said He had “other sheep” who would hear His voice (John 10:16). Revelation shows a great multitude coming out of “great tribulation” (Revelation 7:14). The loud cry of Revelation 18 will pull honest hearts from every denomination, every background, every corner of the earth.

Some will leave because they were never converted.
Others will come in because they finally are.

The shaking isn’t the end of the church—it’s the PREPARATION of the church. God is raising up a purified people who will stand when the world bows. Now is the time to root your faith in Scripture alone, surrender fully to Christ, and let nothing—NOTHING—move you.

Are you building on the Rock… or on sand?
