Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.
It is absolutely amazing what a good night’s sleep will do for you. I feel fantastic. A bit congested, but otherwise fine as a fiddle. I did sleep in a little (til 6), and when I went to the kitchen to start coffee, it was already in progress. My hubby must have gotten a good night’s sleep as well because he was up and moving like nobody’s business. He and the dog are, as we speak, checking out all the frozen grass outside to see if any needs ‘watered’.
In our adventure to fill his I ran across a funny. At least a funny to me. Ha Ha. I called the pharmacy’s hotline. They asked for the information about the patient I was calling about. So I gave the automated pain his info. The recording comes back and tells me that my phone number and his birthday do not match. I was like, no kidding. DUH. So I gave my birthday, lo and behold, they match. The little automated thing told me that I have prescriptions ready to refill, all I need to do is say the word. I had to laugh … I do not have any prescriptions … so I am not sure what ones they think I have. Gotta love technology.
I just inquired as to how my husband slept, and he informed me that he has been up all night. Now, for knowing what he is normally like when he does not sleep, he fooled me this morning. However, he did have sound, periodic sleep portions all day yesterday, so his body is probably confused. No worries, though, he says he feels great. I will take that.
I checked the weather AP, it is a balmy 24 degrees, with a high today of 43. I guarantee we will all be sweating in our building and spending a lot of time on the dock looking for a reason to stay outside. Haha.
These past few weeks have been extremely stressful. Though we do not have definitive answers yet, we are both at peace with knowing that, at least for now, we have done all we could for the situation. Now we live.
I have allowed the enemy to weigh me down for too long. With 77 days until retirement, he does not get anymore.
Be blessed.
**As for man, his days are like grass, he flourishes like a flower of the field; the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. – Psalm 103:15-16
