Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.
Can you hear that? That is the sound of all the congestion in my head releasing at once. I know it is a good thing but talk about your eyes doing wonky things.
Hubby and I are going on a holiday. We are taking a few days for ourselves. The last few months have been very busy and very overwhelming. We decided that a weekend runaway was just what was in the cards. I had set my alarm for 6. The reason is I wanted to be able to get my post out and not be rushed out the door. He advised me last night that 5 seems to be his magic number these days. Told him good luck with that. This morning … what time did I wake up … thanks to all this marvelous congestion … 526. I had to giggle.
Yesterday was a beautiful day in so many ways. The temperature was bearable. I had a full staff. Everyone was done by 4 or before. I got out on time. The drive home was great. We had a simple dinner. I finished the next chapter of my next book. Posted the book trailer for advertising. After falling asleep, I slept extremely soundly. Though I woke up with congestion and a brick inside my face, I feel great. The brick is crumbling one particle at a time.
Question for you today: What determines if you are having a good day or a bad day?
A simple question, yet a plethora of answers. For me, the answer varies from day to day. However, the single most important aspect of a good day in my world … how much have I allowed God in my personal bubble? If I have not allowed him much intimacy, then my day is not as fulfilled and pleasant as when I do.
Something to think about.
Be blessed.
**Praise the Lord, all you nations; extol him, all you peoples. For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord. –Psalm 117
