Help for the Weary Soul.

God is the true source of our strength. We are limited, but He is not. That is why Scripture teaches us to depend on Him and to cast our burdens upon Him. In Psalm 55:22, the Bible says, “Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you.” God does not ask us to carry our struggles alone. He invites us to bring them to Him.

It brings deep comfort to know that we have a Father who truly cares for us. When we are weak, tired, or overwhelmed, He remains strong on our behalf. Isaiah 40:29 says, “He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.” Our weakness is not a disadvantage when it drives us to depend on Him.

We must also remember that trusting God is not just emotional comfort; it is an act of faith. 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us to cast all our care upon Him, “for He cares for you.” When we lean on God instead of ourselves, we find rest for our souls and renewed strength to continue.
