Create in Me a Clean Heart

Father God, On this Thankful Thursday, Day 2 of Lent, I come before You with humility and gratitude. Thank You for Your mercy that meets me every morning. Thank You for Your grace that continues to cover me. Thank You for loving me enough to transform me from the inside out.
Your Word declares in Psalm 51:10, “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” Lord, this is my cry today. Create in me a clean heart. Not patched up. Not partially fixed. But completely renewed by Your Spirit.
Cleanse my thoughts, Lord. Purify my motives. Sanctify my desires. Remove every hidden pride, bitterness, unforgiveness, distraction, and anything in me that does not reflect You. Wash me thoroughly and make my heart tender toward You again.
Renew a right spirit within me. Restore my joy. Restore my discipline. Restore my hunger for righteousness. Let my heart be aligned with Your will and my life reflect Your holiness.
I thank You that You are not just modifying my behavior—You are transforming my heart. Thank You that this season of Lent is producing deeper intimacy, stronger faith, and greater spiritual clarity in me.
I surrender fully to You. Do the inner work that only You can do.
