Romans 15:14-21 Key words In Bold LP
From Jerusalem to Illyricum
Romans 15:14-21 Now I myself am confident concerning you, my brethren, that you also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.
Nevertheless, brethren, I have written more boldly to you on some points, as reminding you, because of the grace given to me by God,
that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
Therefore I have reason to glory in Christ Jesus in the things which pertain to God.
For I will not dare the speak of any of those things which Christ has not accomplished through me, in word and deed, to make the Gentiles obedient--
in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God. so that from Jerusalem and round about to Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.
And so I have made it my aim to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build on another man's foundation,
but as it is written; "To whom He was not announced, they shall see; And those who have not heard shall understand."
Prayer for Spiritual Wisdom
Ephesians 1:15-19 Therefore, I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,
do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,
the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
and what is the exceedingly greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power
Romans 11:13-14 For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry,
if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh and save some of them.
Glory Only in the Lord
1 Corinthians 1:26-31 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many might, not many noble, are called.
But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;
and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are,
that no flesh should glory in His presence,
But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom, from God--and righteousness and sanctification and redemption--
that, as it is written, "He who glories, let him glory in the LORD."
Thank you for responding. Be blessed always.
