1 Peter 2:2-3 Like newborn infants, long for the pure Spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into Salvation - if indeed you have tasted that the LORD is good.
This is something far too many of us seem to be lacking. We want to have our ears tickled and listen to those who tell us what we want to hear. And for that reason we always remain like infants in the LORD, and far too many never grow up into Salvation. But Peter tells us if we have indeed tasted that the LORD is good, had a real encounter with Jesus, that will not be the case. We will move beyond thinking merely going into a building once a week and half listening to the man or woman up front talking, and instead hunger to be in the Presence of God continuously.
So, that's my Sunday Morning thought from the Word this week for you.
