MORNING, February 20th, 2026
Read Philippians 4:6-7
God wants us to pray to Him. But God wants us to always remember to be thankful so that we don't become too self-centered. We can easily turn prayer into a list of things we want. When thanksgiving and praise are taken out of our prayers, we are the ones who lose out. Without praise, our hearts grow cold because all we can think about are our problems, and prayer turns into a list of things we want.
Prayer
God, I have so many reasons to thank You and praise You. When I am going through hard times, Your promises give me hope again. When I win, it is because of the skills You have given me. I love Your surprises because they break up the monotony of my daily life. Thank You, God, for being so powerful and kind at the same time. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
