Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.

Well now. A quick look at the weather shows me that yesterday hit 37 and today is going to be 33. Honestly, I thought it was higher than 37, but the wind was so wicked that it felt colder. Interesting.

Have you ever misrepresented or misjudged a situation? I have. Many times. As a matter of fact, I did so yesterday. I knew what I wanted to say. I thought I knew how to say it. But … all of my language (body, language, tone) did not come out the way that I had wanted, nor did I truly explain the situation properly. In the process of my ‘talk’, I pretty well butchered the entire thing, thus causing a new circumstance. The positive thing was that as soon as I shut up … I could see and hear myself, read the room, and realized how wrong I was. I could completely see the conversation and how I expressed/explained it, and how completely out of line I was. This unfortunately set my mood for the rest of the day.

Today, I have a choice to make. I have woken up in a similar fashion and mood. I am kind of stuck in yesterday. I can choose to stay in that place and allow it to ruin or stain my day today, OR, I can choose to learn from what happened yesterday and move forward. I will tell you that as I sit here typing, my desire is to move forward, but desire is not enough…I have to make the effort to move forward. I have to make the effort to leave yesterday behind. I have to choose to live in the forgiveness that I asked for from Him and know that it is forgiven. Staying in ‘that’ place of yesterday does no one any benefit.

Have you had those moments? Have you had times when you were invested in fixing something that you represented poorly, with ideas running through your head? Have you created an incident that you could have easily controlled, which was or is potentially harmful? Have you been stuck in a place and not sure how to get out of it, in your mind? All are true for me, my friends.

The key to rising up out of the mire of our mistakes is knowing that we have a Father who loves us. Once we take that step of faith and surrender to him, there is nothing that we cannot accomplish … if we will allow ourselves to forgive ourselves and accept His forgiveness.

Be blessed.

**And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love. – 1 Corinthians 13:13
