Good morning!! How are you??
Human beings go on to seek many things except God, isn't it?? When David settled down as the king of Israel, he brought the Ark of God to Jerusalem and prepared a specific place for it. David appointed specific people to carry the Ark. *He appointed some of the Levites to minister before the ark of the Lord, to extol, thank, and praise the Lord, the God of Israel* (1 Ch. 16:4), of which Asaph was the chief. David gives the song to Asaph and his team and they sing. 1 Chronicles 8-22 is reproduced in Psalm 105:1-15.
This song of David goes on to glorify the God of Israel. One of the central verses in this chapter is: *Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.* (1 Ch. 16:11). The song goes on to narrate the history from Abraham till date. The various phases of the history and troubles of Israel. *When they were but few in number, few indeed, and strangers in it, they wandered from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another.* (1 Ch. 16:19-20)
This gives us an impetus on how God carries us through different yet difficult processes. Have a blessed Sunday ahead!!
