Day 1 – Caleb: The Old Man Who Still Wanted the Mountain
Scripture: Numbers 14:24; Joshua 14:6–14
Eighty-five years old.
The desert sun had aged his skin.
Most of his generation was buried behind him.
He walks up to Joshua and says, almost calmly:
“Give me this mountain.”
Not a quiet valley.
Not retirement land.
A mountain still occupied by giants.
For 45 years he carried a promise in silence.
He watched funerals of doubters.
He endured the consequences of other people’s unbelief.
But he never surrendered what God spoke.
The impossible obedience wasn’t fighting giants.
It was believing after decades of delay.
