Isaiah 63:1-6 Who is this that comes from Edom, in crimsoned garments from Bozrah, he that is glorious in his apparel, marching in the greatness of his strength? "It is I, announcing vindication, mighty to save."
Why is thy apparel red, and thy garments like his that treads in the wine press?
"I have trodden the wine press alone, and from the peoples no one was with me; I trod them in my anger and trampled them in my wrath; their lifeblood is sprinkled upon my garments, and I have stained all my raiment.
For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and my year of redemption has come.
I looked, but there was no one to help; I was appalled, but there was no one to uphold; so my own arm brought me victory, and my wrath upheld me.
I trod down the peoples in my anger, I make them drunk in my wrath, and I poured out their lifeblood on the earth."
Ezekiel 25:12-14 "Thus says the Lord GOD; Because Edom acted revengefully against the house of Judah and has grievously offended in taking vengeance upon them,
therefore thus says the Lord GOD, I will stretch out my hand against Edom, and cut off from it man and beast; and I will make it desolate; from Teman even to Dedan they shall fall by the sword.
And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel; and they shall do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath; and they shall know my vengeance, says the Lord GOD.
Amos 1:11-12 Thus says the LORD; "For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not revoke the punishment; because he pursued his brother with the sword, and cast off all pity, and his anger tore perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever.
So I will send a fire upon Teman, and it shall devour the strongholds of Bozrah."
Obadiah 1-21 Saviors shall go up to Mount Zion to rule Mount Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD'S.
Malachi 1:1-5 The oracle of the word of the LORD to Israel by Mal'achi.
"I have loved you," says the LORD. But you say, "How hast thou loved us?" "Is not Esau Jacob's brother?" says the LORD. "Yet I have loved Jacob
but I have hated Esau; I have laid waste his hill country and left his heritage to jackals of the desert."
If Edom says, "We are shattered but we will rebuild the ruins," the LORD of hosts says, "They may build, but I will tear down, till they are called the wicked country, the people with whom the LORD is angry for ever."
Your own eyes shall see this, and you shall say, "Great is the LORD, beyond the border of Israel!?
