Psalm 139:23

David, the writer of this Psalm, was described as a ‘man after God’s own heart.’ As you read about his life, you quickly realize this is not because he was a perfectly wholesome guy. He made some pretty big mistakes. This title is given because of his loose grip on his own life. He invited God to search him, to know him, and to be close to Him. God wants to be invited into our lives. What area of your life are you holding back from the Lord? How can you take steps to invite him into it ?
