Tuesday Morning Prayer – Day 7 of Lent
Take Up Your Cross
Scripture: Gospel of Luke 9:23

Heavenly Father, On this seventh day of Lent, we gather as a family in Your presence with humble hearts. Your Word declares that if anyone would come after You, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow You. Today, Lord, we say yes to daily surrender.
Strengthen every husband, every wife, every mother, every father, every child, and every extended family member represented in our household. Give us the courage to deny our flesh, silence our pride, and lay down our own agendas. Where selfishness tries to rise, let humility take its place. Where comfort tempts us to compromise, give us conviction to stand firm.
Father, teach us that discipleship is not a moment but a lifestyle. Help us to carry our crosses with faith—not complaining, not murmuring, but trusting. When the weight feels heavy, remind us that we are following Jesus Christ, who carried His cross for us. If He endured for our salvation, surely we can endure for His glory.
Strengthen our family to:
• Choose obedience over convenience.
• Choose prayer over panic.
• Choose forgiveness over offense.
• Choose love over division.
Let our home be marked by surrender. Let our conversations reflect Christ. Let our decisions honor You. Remove every distraction that competes with our devotion. Align our hearts with Your will.
Lord, we declare this morning that we will not follow You halfway. We will not follow You conditionally. We will follow You wholeheartedly. Shape us into true disciples. Mature us in faith. Anchor us in truth. Unite us in purpose.
As we go into this Tuesday, empower us to live crucified lives—dead to sin, alive in Christ, bold in faith, and faithful in obedience.
We deny ourselves.
We take up our cross.
We follow You completely.
In Jesus’ mighty name,
Amen.

Declaration...
As for me and my house, we follow Christ wholeheartedly—daily, faithfully, and without turning back.
