There’s a graphic floating around claiming that “Ellen Gould White = 666.” Let’s deal with this once and for all — with facts instead of fear tactics.
First — this entire argument relies on a fake numbering system. The chart assigns values to letters pretending to use Latin (Roman) numerals. But in real Latin, the only numeral letters are: I = 1, V = 5, X = 10, L = 50, C = 100, D = 500, M = 1000. That’s it.
There is no W in Latin.
There is no U in ancient Latin — it used V for both sounds.
There is no letter that equals 0 — because the Romans didn’t even have a zero.
So they invented values for most letters in that chart — including W = 10 — because without that, the number doesn’t come close to 666.
Translation: They had to make up math to attack her.
Second — they only include the name “Gould” to force the outcome. Ellen White rarely used her middle name. Critics add and remove names depending on what number they want. If you need to manipulate someone’s name to “prove” they’re the beast… that’s already proof of dishonesty.
Third — this method can make almost anybody equal 666.
People have applied the same invented number system to:
– Martin Luther = 666
– Pope Benedict = 666
– Donald Trump = 666
– Santa Claus = 666
– Ronald Wilson Reagan (3 names with 6 letters each) = 666
When a method can label everyone as Antichrist… it proves nothing.

* Scripture alone as the final authority
* Salvation in Jesus Christ alone
* Obedience to God’s commandments by grace
If Ellen White were Satan’s masterpiece, why would she constantly call the world back to Jesus, Scripture, and the Sabbath commandment the beast hates?
