Well, I hope this format is full of God-fearing firm believers in the Gospels of Jesus Christ first.
Last night I attended a weekly gathering of a few churches, and the pastor they chose to speak had a few hiccups in his speech and he didn't seem to be led by the Holy Spirit, sounding like a presbyterian. And when you present yourself like that, then you put your doctrinal belief systems first, and the Gospels 2nd, or 3rd, or however far down the line you want to put it. Then came the banger. He said that Jesus was the ultimate theologian! Being a visitor, and feeling the Holy Spirit being quenched in the room, I KNEW THIS CONGREGATION WOULD NEVER INVITE HIM BACK TO THEIR FELLOWSHIP.
Being new to this platform, I must be blunt from the start. And in future posts I will reveal myself and how God has used me to spread HIS GOSPEL, and only that.
At That, GOD IS NOT A THEOLOGIST! And here is why: This is a paper I did for my leadership study course a few years back. I hope you enjoy. God Bless

THEOLOGY:

Theology has its own nature, so in that, is it of the nature of God?

Here is a definition and you decide from here, first and foremost the word philosophy is used,
so is God a God of philosophy by nature?
Or a God of incomplete truth?
Is God a speculator?
Is Jesus an apologist?
Can we reason with the Word?

THEOLOGY IF FLUID BY ITS OWN NATURE BECAUSE IT CONTINUOSLY CHANGES…

I am merely pointing that we spend a lot of time rearranging and changing words that mean more in context than most people think, and today many think its o.k. to interpret the scriptures to fit their philosophical understanding of the Word of God.,.

Words have Power, as Jesus is the Word of God! So when we change the wording, we lose power, we lose authority, we lose our identity,
Please don’t get caught up by man’s excuses and reasons for changing anything that is written into their own words, which have absolutely NO POWER WHATSOEVER!

And, If the late first century and second century church leaders were Greek philosophers (for the most part...)
don’t you think they would have an impact on our translations today?

Enjoy the definition of theology, and please ponder and meditate on the truth of it that you may see the truth I am exposing today.
God Bless....

THEOLOGY:
FROM ENCYCLOPEDIA BRITTANICA

PHILOSOPHICALLY ORIENTED DISCIPLINE OF RELIGIOUS SPECULATION AND APOLOGETICS THAT IS TRADITIONALLY RESTRICTED, BECAUSE OF ITS ORIGINS AND FORMAT, TO CHRISTIANITY BUT THAT MAY ALSO ENCOMPASS, BECAUSE OF ITS THEMES, OTHER RELIGIONS, INCLUDING ESPECIALLY ISLAM AND JUDAISM.

The themes of theology include God, humanity, the world, salvation, and eschatology (the study of last times).
IT IS SYSTEMATIC INTERPRETATIONS OF THE DIVINE OR SACRED,
Nature Of Theology
The concept of theology that is applicable as a science in all religions and that is therefore neutral is difficult to distill and determine.

The problem lies in the fact that, whereas theology as a concept had its origins in the tradition of the ancient Greeks,
it obtained its content and method only within Christianity.

Thus, theology, because of its peculiarly Christian profile, is not readily transferable in its narrow sense to any other religion.

In its broader thematic concerns, however, theology as a subject matter is germane to other religions.

The Greek philosopher Plato, with whom the concept emerges for the first time, associated with the term theology a polemical intention—as did his pupil Aristotle

For Plato, theology described the mythical, which he allowed may have a temporary pedagogical significance that is beneficial to the state but is to be cleansed from all offensive and abstruse elements with the help of political legislation.
This identification of theology and mythology also remained customary in later Greek thought. In contrast to philosophers, “theologians” (e.g., the 8th-century-BCE Greek poets Hesiod and Homer, the cultic servants of the oracle at Delphi, and the rhetoricians of the Roman cult of emperor worship) testified to and proclaimed that which they viewed as divine.

Theology thus became significant as the means of proclaiming the gods, of confessing to them, and of teaching and “preaching” this confession. In this practice of “theology” by the Greeks lies the prefiguration of what later would be known as theology in the history of Christianity.

In spite of all the contradictions and nuances that were to emerge in the understanding of this concept in various Christian confessions and schools of thought, a formal criterion remains constant:

THEOLOGY IS THE ATTEMPT OF ADHERENTS OF A FAITH TO REPRESENT THEIR STATEMENTS OF BELIEF CONSISTENTLY, TO EXPLICATE THEM OUT OF THE BASIS (OR FUNDAMENTALS) OF THEIR FAITH,
AND TO ASSIGN TO SUCH STATEMENTS THEIR SPECIFIC PLACE WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF ALL OTHER WORLDLY RELATIONS
(E.G., NATURE AND HISTORY) AND SPIRITUAL PROCESSES
(e.g., reason and logic).

Here, then, the above indicated difficulty becomes apparent.
In the first place, theology is a spiritual or religious attempt of “believers” to explicate their faith.
In this sense it is not neutral and is not attempted from the perspective of removed observation—in contrast to a general history of religions.
The implication derived from the religious approach is that it does not provide a formal and indifferent scheme devoid of presuppositions within which all religions could be subsumed.
In the second place, theology is influenced by its origins in the Greek and Christian traditions, with the implication that the transmutation of this concept to other religions is endangered by the very circumstances of origination.
We call men of knowledge great men even though they don’t know God! So how great could they be? We reverence their knowledge and consider it before we consider the words written in scripture.
Ungodly men and their knowledge will perish! Their knowledge is as of a fool! Just because they are SCHOLARLY, does not make them GODLY great men of God…
To them theology is power not the word of God!
AT THIS, WHICH THEOLOGIANS GET IT CORRECT?
WHICH ONES ARE WE LISTENING TO?
WHO DO WE FOLLOW IN THEIR INTERPRETATIONS?
WHICH OF THEIR BIBLICAL OPINIONS BY THEIR NATURE HAS THE NATURE OF GOD?
WHICH ONE TEACHES OF THE HOLY SPIRIT LEADERSHIP?
COUNSELING?
TRUTH?
