Stop Magnifying the Problem — Magnify God
1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your care upon God; for He cares for you.
Many people do not realize that it is possible to “worship” a problem. Worship is not only singing or kneeling. Worship is whatever you give your highest attention, fear, focus, and emotional energy. When a problem fills your thoughts all day, steals your peace, controls your mood, and shapes your decisions, it has taken too much space in your heart. Instead of praying about it, you rehearse it. Instead of casting it, you carry it.
The Bible does not deny that problems are real. It does not say pretend everything is fine. It says cast your care. Casting means deliberately transferring the weight to God. Many people pray but never release. They speak to God about the issue, yet they continue to hold it tightly in their minds. That is why the burden remains heavy. Worry is meditation on fear. Faith is meditation on God’s character.
When you magnify a problem, it grows in your perception. When you magnify God, your faith grows. The problem may not disappear immediately, but its control over your heart will. God cares — not casually, but personally. He is not distant from your struggle.
So be honest about the issue. Pray specifically. Do what is within your responsibility. Refuse to let fear sit on the throne of your heart. A problem may be real, but it is not sovereign. Only God deserves that place.
