THE POWER OF PERSISTENT PRAYER
“Men always ought to pray and not lose heart.” — Luke 18:1
Some doors do not open immediately. Not because God is unwilling, but because prayer is often part of His process.
Throughout Scripture, change frequently followed persistence. Elijah prayed repeatedly before rain came. Daniel prayed consistently until revelation arrived. The early Church prayed without ceasing until prison doors opened.
Persistent prayer is not repetition born from doubt. It is faith refusing to surrender. When believers pray continually, hearts are strengthened, circumstances shift, and God moves in ways unseen long before results appear.
For nations where the Gospel faces resistance, prayer becomes more than devotion, it becomes participation in God’s unfolding work.
We may never see every answer immediately. We may never know all that God accomplishes through quiet intercession. Yet heaven records every prayer offered in faith. So we continue.
We pray when progress seems invisible.
We pray when timelines remain unknown.
We pray because God hears, and because prayer prepares the way.
Let us not grow weary.
For persistent prayer often precedes open doors.
