THE ADVENT TRUTH
What day is the Bible Sabbath?
There is a lot of confusion today about which day is the true Sabbath of the Lord. Some say it doesn’t matter. Others say Sunday replaced the Sabbath. But what does GOD say?
From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture is united:
The seventh day — the day we call Saturday — is the Sabbath.
Creation — God blessed, sanctified, and rested on the seventh day (Genesis 2:2-3). No Jews, no “Law of Moses,” just God and mankind.
The Ten Commandments — God told us to remember the Sabbath, not invent a new one later (Exodus 20:8-11).
Jesus’ Example — Christ kept the Sabbath every week (Luke 4:16). He declared Himself “Lord of the Sabbath” (Mark 2:28)—not Lord of Sunday.
The Disciples — After the resurrection, they still rested “according to the commandment” (Luke 23:56).
The New Earth — God’s people will continue to worship “from one Sabbath to another” in eternity (Isaiah 66:22-23).
Search the Bible yourself:
* Not once does God bless the first day of the week.
* Not once does Jesus change the Sabbath.
* Not once do the apostles teach Sunday sacredness.
* Not once does Scripture call Sunday the Lord’s Day.
So why do most Christians worship on Sunday today?
History shows it was changed by human authority, centuries after Jesus — not by God. Even the church that changed it admits the Bible gives no command for Sunday to replace the Sabbath.
The REAL question is not simply which day — but whose authority do we follow?
God lovingly placed the Sabbath at the heart of His law as a weekly reminder:
* He created ou
* He saves us
* He sets us apart
* He desires time with us
The Sabbath isn’t a burden — it’s a gift from a God who loves His people.
In the final days, true worship will be the issue.
Will we follow tradition, or will we follow Truth?
Saturday = the Seventh-day Sabbath.
Not my opinion — God’s command.
If you’re searching, praying, or just curious… Jesus is calling you back to His holy day.
