Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.

I opened up my retirement book last night and began to read/skim over it. Let us just say that I am glad there is a counseling session tomorrow, and I hope they have a large pot of coffee and aspirin…for themselves. Something tells me that I may be one who makes them re-evaluate their life choices. Just saying.

We got some drizzle kind of rain yesterday, and as I was driving home, lightning flashes could be seen to the west. It made me smile because that meant that Spring is very close. Lightning and thunder make for good sleep days/nights. For me, there is something soothing and relaxing about a good old-fashioned rain/thunderstorm.

This morning, as I reflect back on those fleeting signs of light flashing, what kind of day was He preparing me for today? Getting this appointment rescheduled for today was an annoying task at best. My husband had made it for tomorrow, which would have been fine, except I have my counseling session near that same time, and it would be impossible to keep. I tried to explain in the voicemail I left that I needed to reschedule and left my number. However, they called my husband back, and though he repeatedly told them they needed to speak to me, he later told me that it took several times of him repeating himself. By the time they did call me back, they were annoyed. So, now my loose squirrel wonders what kind of appointment this will be? (Thus, a potential storm.)

With a solid night’s sleep behind me, a clear vision of how weird my life is becoming, I encourage you to sit with our Father today in silence and listen for his loving, soft tone of comfort, peace, and understanding. Press your ear to His chest, focus on his heartbeat, feel his love cover your spirit, and know that you are very important to Him. In that moment, you will see clarity like never before. I do enjoy my time with my head upon His chest.

Be blessed.

**But the wisdom of that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. – James 3:17
