Why do christians that are not affiliated with the catholic serve the catholics by recognizing lent? The catholic grip on society today is still unrelenting. Why don't we just participate in indulgences as well, so I can save my dead grandma from being in hell, by paying the preacherman a lot of money to keep her from going there.
