THE ADVENT TRUTH
Most Christians today have been told that the 70th
week of Daniel 9 is about a future Antichrist after the rapture…
But the Bible says the exact opposite.
Daniel’s prophecy speaks of 70 weeks determined for God’s people — a continuous timeline (490 years), not a timeline you slice apart and throw 2,000 years into the future. No angel ever said to insert a gap. Prophecy doesn’t work like that.
So what IS the 70th week really about?
The Messiah. Jesus Christ.
Daniel 9:25 says Messiah the Prince would come after 69 weeks (483 years). That takes us directly to the time of Jesus’ baptism and anointing by the Holy Spirit. That begins the 70th week — the final seven years of the prophecy.
In the midst of the week (3½ years later), Daniel 9:27 says He would cause “the sacrifice and the oblation to cease.”
That’s exactly what happened when Jesus died on the Cross. The temple veil tore from top to bottom — not by human hands — showing that the earthly sacrificial system had met its fulfillment in Christ (Matthew 27:51).
He confirmed the covenant with many through His ministry and through the apostles who continued preaching to Israel until A.D. 34 — the end of the 70 weeks — when the gospel went fully to the Gentiles (Acts 7–8).
There’s no Antichrist in the 70th week.
There’s no secret rapture hidden in Daniel 9.
There’s only Jesus — the Lamb of God, the Anointed One, the One who came right on time.
The enemy HATES this prophecy because it proves Jesus is the Messiah — exactly when He came… exactly how He died… exactly as Scripture foretold.
And that’s why modern prophecy teachers ripped the 70th week away from Jesus and handed it to a future Antichrist. That is the greatest prophetic hijack in Christian history.
Don’t let anyone steal Jesus’s week.
Study it for yourself.
Let prophecy strengthen your faith.
Jesus came right on time before —
He’ll come right on time again.
