𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧 ✍️ “𝘚𝘪𝘯’𝘴 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘱𝘶𝘭𝘭, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩; 𝘕𝘰 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘳𝘶𝘭𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶.” Picture a man trying to outrun his own shadow—no matter how fast he moves, it follows. That’s how many believers feel about sin: always near, always tugging. But in Christ, sin no longer dominates us. Grace has broken its ruling power. The struggle you feel isn’t proof of defeat—it’s evidence that freedom is real and within reach. 🕮 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟔:𝟏𝟒 declares, “𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘪𝘯 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶: 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘢𝘸, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦.” Paul writes to believers, learning how the gospel reshapes daily life—not just eternity. He isn’t claiming Christians never sin; he is proclaiming that sin no longer reigns. Under the law, sin is condemned. Under grace, Christ reigns. “𝘋𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘯” speaks of mastery and control. Grace doesn’t ignore sin’s presence, but it denies sin’s authority. You’re not a slave returning to your master—you’re a redeemed son walking free from dominion. This truth speaks directly into our habits, thoughts, and temptations that feel stronger than our will. Scripture teaches that grace empowers victory. We are “𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘪𝘯” 𝘢𝘯𝘥 “𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘎𝘰𝘥” (𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟔:𝟏𝟏). “𝘐𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘦, 𝘺𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘦𝘥” (𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝟖:𝟑𝟔). God always provides a way of escape in temptation (𝟏 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟏𝟎:𝟏𝟑). Grace does not excuse sin—it overcomes it. We are called to “𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘬 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘵” and not fulfill the lust of the flesh (𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟓:𝟏𝟔). God not only saves—He transforms. “𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘥” (𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟔:𝟔). As the saying goes, “𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦.” Grace gives power to say no, where weakness once ruled. The chains that once held you were shattered at the cross. “𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘺 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘶𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘦” (𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟓:𝟏). Jesus didn’t die merely to forgive sin—He died to defeat its power. What began as a shadow chasing you ends with this truth: grace has broken sin’s dominion. So, are you living like sin still owns you—or like grace has set you free? Stop negotiating with chains Christ already broke. Walk in the victory He secured. Believe what God declared—sin shall not rule you. Will you live today under grace, not under dominion? Grace doesn’t just cover your sin—it cancels its command!
