Contrary to the popular saying many today use experiences from their past or from others to judge their business acumen, marriage, relationships, career. It should not be so.

.
Experiences many times are contrary to the Word and the Word must be our only foundation upon which we build our lives.
Like King David of old, sometimes believers are tempted to ask, why good things happen to bad people.

.
I was meditating on a comment someone I respect on this blue app made and was holding strongly about the fact that he has been in business for over 20 years and on and on And immediately remembered something Hosea wrote
Hosea 4:6 - The reason why many believers suffer, perish or do not succeed in business, career, relationships, IS NOT because of the existence of a Devil, Nope!.

.
The Devil’s head was crushed by Jesus at the cross. He is impotent. After the resurrection ALL power was given to Jesus and He has given it to us. So why does bad things sometimes happen to saints? Why are God’s people sometimes on the losing end of history? Why do some Christians seem to have challenging marital experiences? I do not know it all but one reason is the lack of knowledge.
God explains to Hosea that the reason for perishing or failure is lack of knowledge otherwise known as ignorance of the Word or darkness. Light is knowledge and darkness is ignorance.

.
To understand what God meant by a lack of knowledge we must first understand what He meant by knowledge.

.
The Hebrew word used by Hosea for knowledge is da‛ath and it means knowledge but it also means perception, skill, discernment, understanding and wisdom according to the Brown-Driver-Brigs Hebrew definitions. So in Hosea 4, God was saying the reason why His people fail, are undone or brought to silence is the lack of knowledge, perception, skill, discernment, understanding or wisdom.

.
So, this day my friend lets not be silence, change our perception about world standard of doing business, lets go after skill more than ever with discernment and wisdom.
