To be in union with Jesus means to be spiritually joined to Him in a covenant relationship, not merely agreeing with His teachings, but participating in His life. In union with Jesus, condemnation loses its authority because you are no longer standing alone before God; you stand within the faithfulness, obedience, and righteousness of the Messiah.
