Saturday Morning Prayer – Day 18 of Lent
Theme: Blessing Those Who Hurt You
Scripture: “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.” — Gospel of Matthew 5:44

Prayer...
Heavenly Father,
On this Saturday morning of Lent, I come before You with a humble heart. Thank You for the gift of another day and for the transforming power of Your love. Lord, Your Word teaches me to love even those who hurt me and to bless those who oppose me. I confess that this kind of love is beyond my natural strength, but with You all things are possible.
Father, remove every seed of bitterness, anger, and resentment from my heart. Where wounds remain, pour in Your healing. Teach me the supernatural love that reflects the heart of Christ. Help me to respond to pain with grace, to answer hatred with kindness, and to overcome evil with good.
Lord, today I lift up those who have hurt me—those who misunderstood me, spoke against me, or caused me pain. I release them into Your hands. Bless them, guide them, and work in their lives according to Your perfect will. Let my heart remain free from offense and full of Your peace.
Fill me with the Holy Spirit so that my words, actions, and thoughts reflect Your mercy. Make me a vessel of reconciliation, a carrier of Your love, and a light in places where darkness once lived.
May my life demonstrate that love is stronger than offense and grace is greater than hurt.
Declaration...
Today I walk in the love of Christ. I bless those who hurt me, and I overcome evil with good. My heart is free, my spirit is healed, and God’s love flows through me. Amen.
