THE ADVENT TRUTH
Jesus NEVER handed over authority to change God’s law.

Matthew 28:18 — “ALL power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth.” Not to Peter. Not to Paul. Not to any church. Jesus retained ALL authority.

The Sabbath was made by Christ Himself (Mark 2:27–28). He is Lord of the Sabbath — not Lord of Sunday.

Jesus said His mission was NOT to abolish even the smallest detail of the law (Matthew 5:17–19). “Till heaven and earth pass…” Well — check outside. Heaven and earth are still here. So is God’s Sabbath.

The Apostles kept the Sabbath AFTER the resurrection:
• Acts 13:42–44 — Paul preaches Sabbath to Gentiles
• Acts 16:13 — Outside the city, Sabbath worship
• Acts 17:2 — Paul’s custom was Sabbath keeping
• Acts 18:4 — Every Sabbath, persuading Jews & Greeks
Not once did they teach a new day.

If Jesus supposedly gave them authority to change the day, why did they never change it?

Because they had no authority to do so.
Changing God’s commandments is the characteristic of the little horn power in prophecy — not the Apostles (Daniel 7:25).

Jesus warned of those who “make void the law of God through your tradition.” (Mark 7:9)

Sunday is a tradition, not a commandment.
The Sabbath is a commandment, not a tradition.

Here’s the real issue:

Do we follow Christ, the Creator and Lawgiver?
Or do we follow man-made tradition developed centuries later under Rome?

The final test will reveal who truly honors Jesus’ authority:

“And the dragon was wroth with the woman… which keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” — Revelation 12:17

The Sabbath isn’t legalism — it’s loyalty.

Not a burden — but a blessing.

Not Jewish — but God’s (Isaiah 58:13).

Not nailed to the cross — but written in stone by the very finger of God (Exodus 31:18).

Jesus says: “If you love Me, keep My commandments.”
Not “keep every commandment except the fourth.”

Choose Christ’s authority — not man’s.
