Trust Your Future
You don't know what's coming. And that terrifies you. But faith doesn't need guarantees.
You don't know what's coming.
And that terrifies you.
The job. The relationship. The decision. You want a guarantee before you take the next step.
But faith doesn't work with guarantees.
You are not supposed to see the whole path. You're just supposed to take the next step.
YOU DON'T NEED TO SEE IT ALL.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)
You want the blueprint. God gives you a flashlight.
Just enough light for the next step. Not the whole journey.
Because if you could see everything ahead, you wouldn't need faith. You'd just need a plan.
But God isn't looking for your best strategy. He's looking for your trust.
The future isn't yours to control. It's yours to surrender.
A SIMPLE PRAYER.
God, I want to know what's next. I want certainty. But You're asking me to trust You instead. Help me take the next step without needing to see the whole staircase. Remind me that You hold my future, and that's enough. I don't need all the answers. I just need You. Amen.
