Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.

I really do not like Daylight Saving Time. All this does, in my opinion, is mess with our internal clocks. As Spring continues to move into place and Summer right behind it, staying (light) later only magnifies the issues with our sleep patterns. I am pretty sure this decision to mess with the clocks was a marketing tool to make us all have to buy the heavy curtains that really block out light. I have found no other rational purpose for it.

Your giggle for the day. Yesterday was a wonderful day. Truly. Beautiful weather. Too many employees. Not enough mail. Easy. Because it was an easy day, I decided to carrier observation. I got five done. I was so proud. Even was excited to tell my boss … she was not as excited. She was, but my timing was off. I thought that it was an hour earlier than it was because I had used the clock in my truck to note the times for the observations, and I had not changed that clock yet. When it hit me why she was so frustrated with my excitement, I was like “Crap Nuggets”. I had to change all my times to reflect the correction, and I needed to fit in a quick lunch before my people started coming in. I was now into the PM of the day. After all her meetings we laughed, but boy howdy, it was not very funny to her while it was happening. I give her kudos for not winging a stapler at me.

Since I am on this time kick this morning, I will go ahead and blame it for my flatulence as well. Why not? If time would be left alone, I would not have eaten all those onions and drank that soda. I am sure it is the clock’s fault.

Hopefully, you see the need for humor in my post. I could have allowed all the mishaps and issues to cause a shift in my mood, but I have found a way to flip the dumb of yesterday into a smile for today. Whatever you have going on, find some nugget of dumb and flip it upside down. There is humor in most everything the enemy throws at us. If even for a small moment, find the joy in the chaos and the rubble. In the joy, you find peace. In the peace, you find happiness. In the happiness, you find Love.

Be blessed today.
