Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.

Last night was phenomenal for me. We got home, my husband went to his shop to help a friend work on a vehicle, and I gathered my laptop and headed to the She Shed. The wind was a bit strong, but inside my oasis, it was but a calming reminder of peace amidst the brewing storm.

Sitting in my recliner, looking out of the big pane window to the west, I watched the storm pass me by. It was as though I was not worth its time. The whispering of the wind calling out that perhaps next time they would stop, but not today. The beautiful sunset encapsulating the presence of God, with the expression of ‘rest and know that I am here’.

At this time, in His presence, he provided another large section of the new book and two opportunities to share with others His gloriousness. I earnestly did not want to leave and come back to the house. However, the electricity is not on, and I did not want to turn on the generator for power. But last night’s journey reminded me why I wanted the shed in the first place.

Today, my prayer for everyone is that you can have such a place for you to escape the chaos of the world and be engulfed in Him. Everyone is different. Their sights of Him in the beauty of His existence manifest differently; however, He is everywhere. Perhaps you find Him in the pages of your favorite book. It could be that He is closest when you drive. Maybe he is with you the closest when you are cleaning your house. Wherever it is that you feel Him, embrace Him, connect with Him, go there today, and share in His love for you. It does wonders for the living soul.

Where I found an enormous amount of peace in my shed last night, others were not so fortunate. A town about sixty miles from us was hit with a devastating tornado, where several surrounding counties were called out to help with rescue efforts. Please include them in your prayers today.

Father, I thank you for Your presence in my life. I would be a bigger hot mess without you. Thank you for your blessings and gifts. I ask Lord that those without connection to You will find it. That they will embrace it. That they will feel the beauty in living in it. Lord, I ask for your favor and mercy in the devastation up north. Be with those families that were affected and bring them your presence of peace. We know that this is just another scheme to drive a wedge but give them the glimmer of Hope that they are seeking in this chaos. Father, I ask that you cover our troops abroad as they fight the fight that they were sent to do. Keep them safe and bring them home. I pray, Lord, that you are with our government leaders. May they come to you in their decision-making and seek your face before making those decisions. Again, thank you for all you do and have done. In Jesus name. Amen.

Be blessed.
