A compassionate attitude. Rather than pity, anger, shame, impatience, intolerance, or rejection, God, my Father, gives me compassion. It is enough for Him to care about my pain that He came into my world to share it with me in Jesus.

Prayer
Father of Mercies and God of All Compassion, thank you for not only knowing and caring about my struggles and problems, but also for sending me help in the form of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Through one, I know how kind and loving you are, and through the other, I know how strong and powerful you are. May your spirit of kindness show up in the way I treat other people. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
