The creditors came and threatened to take her two sons as slaves. Her world was collapsing.
She went to the prophet for help, and he asked her an important question,
“WHAT DO YOU HAVE IN YOUR HOUSE?” (2Kings 4:2
The woman replied with disappointment,
"Your servant HAS NOTHING in the house… EXCEPT A JAR OF OIL."
To her, IT WAS NOTHING, JUST A SMALL JAR But HEAVEN SAW SOMETHING POWERFUL.
The MIRACLE DID NOT BEGIN IN HEAVEN. IT BEGAN IN HER HOUSE. God did not ask her to go and find something far away.
The ANSWER to her crisis was ALREADY IN HER HOUSE, IN HER POSSESSION. She HAD OIL BUT SHE DID NOT KNOW ITS VALUE. SHE VALUED THE OIL AS NOTHING.
MANY PEOPLE ARE LIKE THIS WOMAN
We think we have nothing. We are looking everywhere for help. We are waiting for someone to give us something big. But we do not realize that our miracle is already in our house, in our church, in our hands.
INSIDE THE HOUSE IS SOMETHING VALUABLE. Inside the house is SOMETHING POWERFUL. Inside the house is SOMETHING OUR GENERATION NEEDS. But because it looks small, you call it nothing. OUR LITTLE CAN BECOME AN OIL WELL

The small jar filled many vessels. Her DEBT was PAID. Her FAMILY was SAVED. Her FUTURE was SECURED. ALL FROM THE THING SHE THOUGHT WAS INSIGNIFICANT.
Do Not Despise What We Have In The House. Our small skill… our small idea… our small gift… our small beginning…
