Yesterday was a beautiful writing day. I was able to get over 5000 words. The morning was not all sunshine and rainbows; however, the generator would not power the shed for lights and to take the nip off. My husband and his friends were determined to fix it for me, which set off my temper a little. I finally expressed in my mom- voice, ‘go away’ and they did. Yesterday also brought on another dynamic … I may need to invest in a porta john…just saying. Haha.
A good writing day indeed. Two and a half chapters, most of which were done at the She Shed. When my computer said it was done with the cooler temps and shut off, we retreated to my office inside. I think it was around 2, so there we had a good four hours out there.
Today I am up a lot later than normal. Circumstances from later in the afternoon determined that I needed to be home today. Sleep was not as sound until about 5 am this morning. From 5-8 I slept like a rock. Considering the amount of good sleep, I feel pretty good.
Amazing what you can see when your eyes are opened unexpectedly. It makes you replay scenes and scenarios over and over to see if you had your eyes closed the entire time. This happens over and over in life, what I have decided … right or wrong … is that my eyes are opened when He wants them open. I can go around second-guessing myself about what probably has been in front of me the whole time, or … I can choose to say thank you that I could see at the time He wanted it revealed to me. It may be revealed to someone else before me, and that is okay. The point is that I was open to the idea and display when He called me to be.
Sometimes the enemy uses another’s vision to make us feel less than we are. There are many things in my kid’s health that I feel I missed now that they are dealing with them. There are many things at work that I saw in a different light … until I didn’t. There are many things in this world that I perceive in one direction that others perceive differently. What we are opened to by His grace is also by His timing. Do not let the enemy make you feel anything other than a child of God because he wants to make you feel less in God’s eyes. You are a beautiful child of the Most High. Your purpose is for the Holy One. The enemy has no footing unless we give it to him.
