Lent – Day 25: Cleansing the Temple Scripture: Matthew 21:12 Heavenly Father, On this quiet Saturday morning, I come before You with humility and gratitude. Thank You for waking me today and allowing me another opportunity to draw closer to Your presence. Lord, just as Jesus entered the temple and drove out everything that did not belong there, I ask You to come into the temple of my heart today. Search me, O God, and reveal anything within me that does not honor You. Remove every thought, attitude, habit, and desire that has taken up space where Your Spirit should dwell. Cleanse me from pride, bitterness, distraction, and anything that competes with Your holiness. Wash my heart and make it pure before You. Lord Jesus, overturn every table in my life that represents compromise or spiritual clutter. Drive out every influence that tries to steal my devotion, my peace, or my purpose. Replace those things with righteousness, peace, love, and truth. Let my heart become a place of prayer, worship, and obedience. Create in me a clean heart today, Father, and renew a right spirit within me. Let my words, my actions, and even my thoughts reflect Your glory. Teach me to guard the temple You have given me so that my life continually honors You. May Your Holy Spirit fill every corner of my heart. Let Your presence dwell richly within me so that wherever I go today, Your light shines through my life. I surrender my heart again to You this morning. Cleanse me, renew me, and prepare me to walk in holiness. In the name of Jesus, Amen. Declaration... My heart is God’s holy dwelling. Nothing that dishonors Him will remain in His temple.
