However, this growing catalog of so-called "ancient megafloods" is simply further confirmation of the one true, global Flood recorded in Genesis. The scientific community, committed to uniformitarian assumptions, continues to divide up what is likely the same worldwide catastrophe into numerous disconnected regional events. These new flood records don’t point to dozens of separate, unconnected floods, but to the aftereffects of a single, global judgment that reshaped the surface of the earth. Instead of accepting that truth, secular geologists\evolutionists will continue trying to explain away the overwhelming geological evidence—layer by layer—because acknowledging a worldwide Flood means confronting the biblical worldview and the authority of Scripture.
