It doesn't make sense
Nothing is going the way you thought. But God sees what you can't.
Nothing is going the way you thought it would.
The door you prayed for closed. The person you trusted left. The plan you believed in fell apart.
And now you're wondering if God knows what He's doing.
When His plan doesn't match yours, it's hard to trust.
You are not crazy for questioning. You are human for not understanding.
TRUST WHAT YOU CAN'T SEE.
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,' declares the Lord."
Isaiah 55:8 (NIV)
God's plan rarely makes sense from where you're standing.
Because you see today. He sees eternity.
You see the closed door. He sees the better path.
You see the loss. He sees the preparation.
What feels like a detour might actually be protection. What looks like a no might be leading you to a greater yes.
You don't have to understand His plan. You just have to trust the One who made it.
A SIMPLE PRAYER.
God, Your plan doesn't make sense to me right now. I don't understand why this door closed, why this didn't work out, why things aren't going my way. But I choose to trust You anyway. Help me believe that You see what I can't. That You're working even when I don't understand. Amen.
