**PROPHETIC WARNING: THE HONEYMOON WITH THE WORLD IS OVER**
** THE OFFENSIVE CROSS: WHY TRUE DISCIPLESHIP WILL REPEL THE CROWD AND ISOLATE YOUR SOUL **
I write this with a heavy prophetic burden. The Holy Ghost is sick of the seeker-sensitive, spineless, sugar-coated gospel that has intoxicated the Western Church. We have preached a "Christ" who begs for acceptance, a "Cross" that doesn't kill, and a "Salvation" that costs nothing.
**WE HAVE LIED TO YOU.**
We told you that if you follow Jesus, your life will get better, your business will boom, and everyone will love you.
**LIES.**
The Jesus of the Bible did not come to win a popularity contest. He came to start a fire. And if you truly follow Him—not the cardboard cutout version, but the Lion of Judah—**YOU WILL BE OFFENSIVE.**
**HEAR THE WORD OF THE LORD:**
The season of "Cool Christianity" is dead. God is bringing the **SWORD OF SEPARATION.**
If you are still loved by the world, celebrated by the compromised, and applauded by the culture, **YOU ARE NOT CARRYING THE CROSS—YOU ARE DRAGGING A PROP.*
### 1. THE THEOLOGY OF THE "SKANDALON" (THE STUMBLING BLOCK)
Paul warned us in **Galatians 5:11** about the *"offense of the cross."* The Greek word is *skandalon*—the trigger of a trap.
The Cross is insults human pride. It tells you that you are so wicked, so depraved, and so lost that nothing but the MURDER of the Son of God could save you.
**1 Corinthians 1:23**: *"But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness..."*
If your gospel is "inclusive" to sin, "affirming" to rebellion, and "palatable" to the carnal mind, **IT IS A COUNTERFEIT GOSPEL.**
True discipleship confronts the flesh. It does not negotiate with terrorists in the spirit realm. It demands DEATH to self. And let me tell you—**people hate dead things.**
When you die to the world, the world will smell the stench of your death to their values, and they will reject you.
### 2. THE JOHN 6 MOMENT: THE CULLING OF THE CROWD
Jesus had the megachurch. He had the 5,000. He had the momentum.
And what did He do? He preached a message so offensive, so hard, and so bloody ("Eat my flesh, drink my blood") that **THEY LEFT.**
**John 6:66**: *"From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him."*
Did Jesus chase them? Did He send Peter to run a poll on how to make the sermon more "relatable"?
**NO.** He turned to the twelve and said, *"Will ye also go away?"*
**PROPHETIC INSIGHT:**
God is about to offend your church list. He is about to offend your donor base. He is about to offend your social circle.
**Why?** Because He is pruning the "Fans" to find the "Followers."
Fans want the fish and loaves. Followers want the Cross and the Cup.
**IF YOU ARE AFRAID OF EMPTY SEATS, YOU ARE NOT FIT FOR THIS REVIVAL.**
### 3. THE SWORD IN THE LIVING ROOM
You think Jesus came to bring peace? Read your Bible.
**Matthew 10:34**: *"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword."*
The Sword of the Spirit cuts. It cuts between:
* Holy and Profane.
* Truth and Feelings.
* **Mother and Daughter, Father and Son.**
When you truly get on fire, your lukewarm family will call you a fanatic. Your compromised friends will call you "judgmental." Your old drinking buddies will mock you.
**THIS IS NOT PERSECUTION; THIS IS PROOF.**
**Luke 6:26**: *"Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets."*
If everyone likes you, you are a false prophet of your own life. You are compromising truth to keep the peace. **STOP IT.** Better to walk alone with God than to walk in a crowd toward Hell.
### 4. THE HOLY ISOLATION: OUTSIDE THE CAMP
**Hebrews 13:13**: *"Let us go forth therefore unto him **without the camp**, bearing his reproach."*
Moses had to go *outside the camp* to meet with God (Exodus 33:7).
Jesus suffered *outside the gate* (Hebrews 13:12).
**TRUE ANOINTING IS FORGED IN ISOLATION.**
God will strip you of your support systems. He will allow you to be misunderstood. He will let you be slandered. Why? To detach you from the approval of man so you are addicted only to the approval of Heaven.
**Do not fear the loneliness.**
The eagle flies alone; only pigeons flock together to fight over crumbs.
The isolation is not punishment; it is the **INCUBATOR OF POWER.**
### THE ULTIMATUM: CHOOSE YOUR REPUTATION OR YOUR ANOINTING
You cannot have both.
You can be "relevant," or you can be "reverent."
You can be "popular," or you can be "powerful."
The Cross is jagged. It is heavy. It splinters the shoulder. It offers no comfort to the flesh. But it is the ONLY instrument that leads to Resurrection.
**I AM CALLING FOR THE OFFENDED.**
I am calling for the ones who don't care if they get invited to the party.
I am calling for the ones who will preach truth even if their voice shakes and their friends leave.
**ARE YOU WILLING TO BE HATED FOR HIS NAME'S SAKE?**
** YOUR ACTION PLAN:**
1. **ACCEPT THE REJECTION:** Stop trying to explain yourself to people committed to misunderstanding you. Shake the dust off your feet.
2. **KILL THE PEOPLE-PLEASER:** Repent of the fear of man. It is a snare (Proverbs 29:25). Tell God, *"I would rather be rejected by the world than rejected by You."*
3. **EMBRACE THE WILDERNESS:** If you are in a season of isolation, do not run back to Egypt. Stay there until you are endued with Power from on High.
** DECLARE IT:**
Type **"I BEAR THE REPROACH"** in the comments if you are willing to walk outside the camp with Jesus!
