Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.

I have to giggle this morning. As I reflect on one of my last competition pieces and how it fared, it finished dead last. In summary, it was about two friends in the service, deployed, and reminiscing about boot camp and how they landed there. In this story, I mention the Bible only in context, when one of the soldiers is reading the Epistles. No lesson. No flipped script. Just a soldier wanting to read the Bible. It finished dead last.

I have written so many pieces that actually pressed the Word and what it means, that have finished so much better, but the mere mention of reading His Word lands the story dead last. There could be some other factors in play, but I find this quite compelling.

As I think about and giggle about its standing, I am curious as to whether this was a sign from Him telling me to tell his story as I was, or if this is ‘him’ saying the Bible does not need to be mentioned ever. It is a perplexing moment, but one that I am up for.

Until recently, there has not been a definitive placement status shown; however, now that they are showing the wins versus losses brackets, I am interested in watching how His Word measures up from my stories to these worldly judges.

Today is going to be a mixture of cleaning and writing. I am excited to worship my God while making my home nicer to look at. What is on your agenda today? Put Him first in whatever it is, and your day will be blessed beyond measure.

Be blessed.

**But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. –Matthew 6:33
