We are professional borrowers. We borrow worry from tomorrow, anxiety from next week, and fear from years we may never see. We drag future burdens into present days and then wonder why we’re exhausted. Whether we are weary from striving or anxious about what may come, the question is not how much of tomorrow we can control but how faithfully we trust God for today’s portion.

The Lord Jesus speaks directly to overloaded hearts in He was not dismissing the weary—He was dismantling the anxiety. Tomorrow’s weight belongs to tomorrow. Today has enough for today.

“๐˜›๐˜ข๐˜ฌ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฐ ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฐ๐˜ถ๐˜จ๐˜ฉ๐˜ต” means do not be consumed with worry. Christ was teaching people who lived dayโ€‘toโ€‘day. Israel learned this in the wilderness. Manna fell with the morning dew Gather too much, and it spoils God was teaching people to trust. Grace, like manna in the wilderness, arrives fresh every morning—it is never stored.

Scripture shows that God gives strength in daily portions. God does not load us with tomorrow’s burdens today.

We exhaust ourselves carrying tomorrow before it arrives. Worry stretches the shadow; faith walks in the light. It multiplies burdens God never assigned. A hiker doesn’t carry water for the whole trail—he trusts there will be streams along the way. God’s grace was daily; trust was daily; dependence was daily.

So, we return to the heart of the matter. The question is not how secure we feel about tomorrow, but how surrendered we are today. Christ declares, “๐˜ ๐˜ข๐˜ฎ ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ฃ๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ๐˜ข๐˜ฅ ๐˜ฐ๐˜ง ๐˜ญ๐˜ช๐˜ง๐˜ฆ” (๐‰๐จ๐ก๐ง ๐Ÿ”:๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ“). And He remains “๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ด๐˜ข๐˜ฎ๐˜ฆ ๐˜บ๐˜ฆ๐˜ด๐˜ต๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜ฅ๐˜ข๐˜บ, ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ ๐˜ต๐˜ฐ ๐˜ฅ๐˜ข๐˜บ, ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ ๐˜ง๐˜ฐ๐˜ณ ๐˜ฆ๐˜ท๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ” (๐‡๐ž๐›๐ซ๐ž๐ฐ๐ฌ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‘:๐Ÿ–). Our daily portion is not merely provision—it is Christ Himself.

Will you release what has not yet come? You don’t need Christ just to solve tomorrow’s problems—you need Him to sustain you in today’s obedience. What burden are you carrying ahead of grace? Lay it down. Receive your daily portion—and walk steadily at His pace.

๐๐ซ๐š๐ฒ๐ž๐ซ: Heavenly Father, forgive my anxious heart. Teach me to rest in Thy daily grace. Calm my fears of tomorrow and steady my steps for today. Help me trust Thy care and sufficiency in every moment. Give me strength for this day and peace for this hour. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Remember, a dose of God’s Word a day will keep you going all day!
