MONDAY MORNING PRAYER – LENT DAY 27
Gethsemane Surrender
Scripture:Gospel of Luke 22:42
Heavenly Father,
As this new morning begins, I come before You with a humble heart. Just as Jesus prayed in the garden, I lay my will down before You today. In moments when my plans seem right to me, teach me to pause and seek Your wisdom. When my heart wants control, remind me that Your purpose is greater than anything I could design.
Lord, in the quiet place of surrender, help me to trust You more deeply. Even when the path feels uncertain, give me the courage to say, “Not my will, but Yours be done.” Strengthen my faith so I will not cling to my own understanding but will walk confidently in the direction You lead.
Take every plan, every desire, every decision, and align it with Your divine purpose. Remove pride, fear, and doubt from my heart. Fill me instead with obedience, peace, and unwavering trust in You.
Today I surrender my ambitions, my schedule, my worries, and my expectations into Your hands. Lead me where You want me to go. Let my life reflect the heart of Christ—obedient, faithful, and devoted to the Father's will.
May my words honor You, my actions glorify You, and my heart remain fully yielded to You throughout this day.
Lord, let Your will become my greatest desire.
