Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.
Today I am hoping for a repeat of Saturday at work. I have the same circumstances, personnel-wise, and I am hoping that the mail volume will be as respectful. I love it when He takes a trainwreck and turns it into a rainbow.
Yesterday I was able to get the four major rooms of my house brought back to respectable standards. Still don’t bring a white glove, but it is not scary to come into anymore. This includes moving furniture and sweeping underneath, mopping the old-fashioned way, and filling a trash can for today’s pick up. I do, still, have fifteen mountains of laundry to fold and put away, but hey, at least it is clean. Let me tell you, my back is telling me what I did.
God also blessed me with some quality writing time. In the last three days, another 4200 words. That is pretty good considering all the other tasks that I also accomplished. Right now, my story is sitting at just over 28k. I do not know if I will make the deadline for the challenge, but the story is coming along very nicely.
Today, my focus will be on watching my Lord manifest a beautiful outcome to a not-so-nice start. Regardless of what is thrown at us today, I know that He will be there and the day will end on a positive note. I know that I have one task that really needs to be completed today, other than the trainwreck portion. I am confident that the enemy will try to stop me, and I am determined to make sure he kicks rocks. I am going to make it my goal to fix my eyes on a positive end to a fantastic career for the next 31 working days.
Be blessed and keep your eyes fixed on Him today.
***Be very careful, then, how you live-not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.—Ephesians 5:15-16
