THE ADVENT TRUTH
Why would a loving God allow His children to face a terrible time before Jesus returns?
Because this world is already terrible — and He refuses to let suffering continue forever.
The Bible teaches we are in a Great Controversy — a real war over God’s character. Satan accused God of being unfair, unloving, and impossible to obey. So God does something radical: instead of just destroying Satan, He proves His goodness to the universe through a transformed people.
Revelation calls them those who “keep the commandments of God AND the faith of Jesus” (Rev. 14:12). Not saved by works — but saved unto a life that reflects Jesus.
The final crisis doesn’t create suffering — it reveals what side everyone is truly on. This is what the Bible calls the shaking (Hebrews 12:26–27). Everything built on lies will fall. Only what is rooted in Christ will remain.
God isn’t throwing His children into fire…
He’s refining them like gold (Zechariah 13:9).
He’s sealing them before judgment falls (Revelation 7).
He’s standing with them in the furnace like He did for the three Hebrews (Daniel 3).
The tribulation is not God punishing His people — it is God protecting them from the ultimate deception: a world system that looks religious but rejects His Word.
And here’s the key:
The end-time trial is not about proving our strength. It’s about proving His power to save and exposing Satan as the true source of chaos.
Jesus already faced the real wrath against sin so that you don’t have to. The trouble at the end is temporary — but the freedom, joy, and peace on the other side will never end (Revelation 21:4).
A loving Father doesn’t leave His kids in a burning house —
He breaks in, pulls them out, and destroys the fire forever.
God isn’t putting us through a terrible time —
He’s ENDING the terrible time.
