Tuesday Morning Prayer for Our Family – Lent DAY 28 – The Power of the Blood
Scripture: 1 John 1:7

Heavenly Father,
This Tuesday morning we come before You with grateful hearts, lifting up every member of our family into Your loving hands. Thank You for the precious blood of Jesus that was shed for us. Your Word declares that when we walk in the light, the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin. Today we stand in that promise, covered, forgiven, and made new.
Lord, let the power of the blood of Jesus rest upon our homes and our families. Cleanse every heart, renew every mind, and restore every relationship. Where there has been hurt, bring healing. Where there has been weakness, release strength. Where there has been confusion, bring Your perfect peace. Let Your redeeming power wash away every burden and every mistake, reminding us that we are not defined by our past but by Your grace.
Father, protect our family members today. Cover our children, parents, spouses, siblings, and loved ones under the mighty covering of the blood of Jesus. Guard their steps, guide their decisions, and surround them with Your angels. Let no weapon formed against our family prosper. Fill our homes with love, unity, forgiveness, and faith.
Lord, during this season of Lent, help us remember the great price that was paid for our redemption. Teach us to walk in humility, gratitude, and obedience. May the sacrifice of Christ inspire us to love deeper, forgive quicker, and trust You more.
Today we thank You for redemption. Thank You that through the blood of Jesus we are forgiven, restored, and made whole. Our past is washed away, our future is secure, and our hope is alive in You.

Today we declare that our family is covered by the blood of Jesus. We are redeemed, restored, and walking in the light of God’s grace. No guilt, no shame, and no darkness has power over us. We belong to the Lord, and His redemption is at work in our lives.
