God isn't late.
The waiting feels cruel. But what if God isn't late? What if He's right on time?
The waiting is exhausting.
You've been patient. You've been faithful. You've done everything right. And still, nothing has happened. The delay feels cruel.
But what if God isn't late? What if He's right on time?
You are not being forgotten. You are being prepared.
THE DELAY ISN'T DENIAL.
"Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!"
Isaiah 30:18 (NIV)
God isn't making you wait because He forgot. He's making you wait because the timing matters.
What you're asking for might require something in you to change first. Or something in the situation to shift. Or doors to close that you don't even see yet. The delay isn't punishment. It's preparation.
God is working in the waiting. Building your character. Strengthening your faith. Setting things in motion you can't see.
Trust that the delay has a purpose. Even when you can't understand it.
A SIMPLE PRAYER.
God, I'm tired of waiting. I don't understand why it's taking so long. But I choose to trust that You're working even when I can't see it. Help me believe the delay has purpose. Teach me patience. Strengthen my faith in the waiting. Your timing is perfect, even when it's not mine. Amen.
P.S. What are you waiting on that feels like it's taking forever? Job? Healing? Relationship? Breakthrough?
