LENT DAY 30 – Thankful Thursday Morning Prayer – Hope in the Darkest Hour.
Scripture: Book of Lamentations 3:22-23
Heavenly Father,
I come before You this morning with a heart full of gratitude. Thank You for waking me up, for giving me breath, and for allowing me to see another day filled with Your goodness and mercy. Even in moments when life feels heavy, I thank You that Your love never runs out and Your compassion never fails.
Lord, Your Word reminds me that Your mercies are new every morning—fresh, unfailing, and overflowing. In every dark place, You remain my light. In every uncertain moment, You are my steady foundation. Today, I ask that You anchor my soul in unshakable hope. When my emotions try to overwhelm me, remind me that You are faithful. When my vision grows dim, help me to see through the lens of Your promises.
Father, strengthen me where I feel weak. Lift every burden that tries to weigh me down. Replace every worry with peace, every fear with faith, and every doubt with confidence in who You are. Help me not to be moved by what I see, but to stand firm on what I know—You are good, You are present, and You are working all things for my good.
Thank You for being my refuge in difficult seasons and my joy in every moment. Thank You that even in my darkest hour, I am never alone. Your mercy sustains me, Your grace covers me, and Your love carries me through.
Today, I choose gratitude. I choose hope. I choose to trust You fully.
