Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.
It appears to me that Menopausal Mary (Mother Nature) has been joined by Bipolar Betty, because looking at the weather forecast, I see pneumonia in the near future for everyone. I am not complaining about the beautiful weather yesterday and what is going to be here this weekend; however, we just came out of near parka weather into almost short weather back to light to heavy jacket weather next week. Looks to me like an entire family has run out of meds. Just saying. Crazy. Haha.
After appointments and errands yesterday, I was blessed with about two hours in the presence of my groundhog friend (who was not happy to see me), the singing of the birds, and the presence of the Holy Spirit at my She Shed. I was able to make a promotion video and get about 1000 words typed. To be honest, I was in awe of how peaceful it was. I looked at the clock and realized it was almost 7, and I needed to come back up to the house. Walking up to the house, I found the spot for the Gazebo…haha.
Two more days of this Indiana weather comparison work week. Today and Tomorrow. After which, we will be back to normal…at least as normal as it ever is. I told my boss that the chaos of the week made me realize how much fun I was having. She definitely looked at me as if I had lost my last marble. She is probably correct in that assumption. However, over the past year, I reflected on how challenging it was and realized it was exactly what I needed to keep my mind focused on all the paths I am walking right now. In the nonsense of upper management, the Tetris of covering routes, and the new programs I had to learn, I found my way out of my comfort bubble and gained peace of mind and purpose.
Today, I give thanks for God’s wisdom in knowing exactly what I need when I need it, regardless of how ridiculous it may look to me. What path has he led you to that makes no sense, but if you look at it in perspective … makes absolute sense? Think about it. Then say thank you.
Be blessed.
**Praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. – Psalm 106:1
