Did I miss a day?
Lent Day 31 – The Silence of Saturday
“Be still, and know that I am God…” - Psalm 46:10

Thought Of The Day...
Saturday was silent.
After the suffering of Friday and before the victory of Sunday, there was a day where nothing seemed to happen. No miracles. No voices from heaven. No visible movement of God. It was a space filled with grief, confusion, and waiting.
Yet even in that silence—God was working.
The tomb was not a place of defeat; it was a place of divine activity hidden from human eyes. While the world saw stillness, heaven was orchestrating resurrection. What looked like an ending was actually preparation for the greatest victory in history.
There are seasons in our lives that feel like this “Saturday.” Prayers seem unanswered. Progress feels paused. God appears quiet. But silence does not mean absence—it often means God is moving in ways we cannot yet see.
Stillness is not weakness; it is trust. It is choosing to rest in God’s sovereignty even when you don’t understand His timing. In the quiet, God strengthens your faith, deepens your dependence, and prepares you for what’s coming next.
Don’t rush through the silence. God is in it.

Prayer...
Heavenly Father, in moments when life feels quiet and uncertain, teach my heart to be still. Help me to trust You when I cannot trace You. In seasons where answers seem delayed, anchor my soul in Your truth. Quiet my fears, calm my thoughts, and remind me that You are always working—even in the unseen. Give me the strength to wait with faith and the peace to rest in Your presence. I surrender my need to understand and choose to trust Your perfect plan. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Declaration...
I trust God in quiet seasons. Even in silence, He is working all things for my good.
