LET'S TALK ABOUT IT.
GONE FISHING!
This is the kind of reminder we don’t talk about enough.
In Matthew 17:27, Jesus told Peter to go to the sea, cast a hook, and the first fish he caught would have a coin in its mouth enough to pay the tax.
Think about that. Provision didn’t come from a crowd. It didn’t come from a wealthy supporter. It didn’t come from a loan or a backup plan. It came from obedience. God could have dropped the money from the sky. Instead, He chose something unexpected a fish with a coin in its mouth to show that His provision is not limited to human systems.
If you’re waiting on God to provide, don’t limit Him to what makes sense to you.
The answer may not look like what you expected. The opportunity may come from an unlikely place. The door may open in a way you never planned.
Your part is obedience. God’s part is provision.
He is not short on resources. He is not confused about your need. And He is never late. Trust Him even when the instructions seem unusual. The same God who placed a coin in a fish’s mouth knows exactly how to take care of you.
