Gospel of the Day ā John 8:1ā11
A woman caught in sin was brought before Jesus, and the crowd was ready to condemn her. But Jesus said,
āLet the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone.ā
One by one, they all walked away.
Then Jesus said to her,
āNeither do I condemn you. Go, and from now on do not sin anymore.ā
Reflection:
Godās mercy is greater than our sin.
He does not come to condemn us, but to restore us.
Today, let us put down our stonesātoward others and toward ourselvesāand choose a new beginning in His love.
Prayer:
Lord, give me a heart full of mercy,
the humility to see my own faults,
and the strength to begin again. Amen.
