Gospel of the Day – John 8:1–11

A woman caught in sin was brought before Jesus, and the crowd was ready to condemn her. But Jesus said,
ā€œLet the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone.ā€

One by one, they all walked away.

Then Jesus said to her,
ā€œNeither do I condemn you. Go, and from now on do not sin anymore.ā€

Reflection:
God’s mercy is greater than our sin.
He does not come to condemn us, but to restore us.
Today, let us put down our stones—toward others and toward ourselves—and choose a new beginning in His love.

Prayer:
Lord, give me a heart full of mercy,
the humility to see my own faults,
and the strength to begin again. Amen.
